Feature request: allow multiple functions for each behavior #130

I'm not sure why APLcart even has That said, multiple solutions to the same problem are already allowed and exist. If two entries have exactly the same description and meta-data, they'll all show up together (except when searching with APL code). |

ah, i see it now. thanks @abrudz . opened a PR here. do you mind if i periodically add alternatives like this? it would be a fun exercise (even if they are less performant). |

Depends. If they do exactly the same, then only add the superior one. If they have slightly different meaning, then the description needs to reflect this. In this case, they are identical for matrices, however |

but a potential benefit of adding many alternative spellings is that this table could provide candidates for idiom recognition (that translate to the more performant spelling in interpreters). maybe they can be hidden from website users and only available if people download the table? |

The plan is to not add any more idioms. It is a technological deadend. Also, APLcart's purpose is to tell people how to do things. |

e.g.
for "Drop Is columns from matrix Ym" we have:
but this function is equivalent (though less efficient) for rank 2 vectors:
but they differ in behavior for higher ranks -- perhaps in a useful way.
perhaps aplcart could allow a user to click or hover to see alternative implementations (even if they are less performant)?
it would also be useful to catalog these alternative implementations so that other APLs could assess performance differences across different solution styles.
EDIT:
what i like about the alternative example is that it feels like J's "under" conjunction (or as bob says "the tire change")
