Deployment to synology seems successful but certificate not applied, even after reboot

I tried ec-384 cipher, then learned it's not supported, then RSA-4096, but it's still not working.

Deployment is successful according to acme logs, but the synology web interface is still using the old cert. I restarted nginx using synosystemctl restart nginx, even rebooted the entire synology, but no luck, the old cert is still being used.

Any idea what could be wrong?

I found the answer. These steps must be added to the documentation for the first time deployment:

1. Open Synology Control Panel > Security > Certificates
2. click "settings"
3. Set the new certificate as the default for the desired services.
