1) Ensure that the 'curses' and 'posix' modules are available for Lua
( on Debian: aptitude install lua-curses lua-posix )
2) Copy the two files 'cfm.lua' and 'cfmrc.lua' to your computer.
3) Edit 'cfmrc.lua' to suit your preferences.
4) Set the environment variable CFMRC to the full path of 'cfmrc.lua'
( for example: export CFMRC=~/cfmrc.lua )
5) Type: lua cfm.lua
( h : help; q : quit )
This is still very much a work-in-progress. In particular, error-handling
is glaringly incomplete. To see the text of any error messages which cause
CFM to crash, you need to redirect them into a file, the screen is cleared
when 'curses' exits -- so:
lua cfm.lua >cfm.errs
The licence has not yet been decided -- for now, let's say it's the same
as for Lua itself: the MIT license.
