I´ve noticed that the template used by ADR manager extension in VSCode uses the word ´Decider´, which is not correct in the context.
it should be ´Decision maker´(or decision participants).
The word decider does not refer to a person.

In the ADR template, it is "Deciders" https://github.com/adr/madr/blob/develop/template/adr-template.md

Is ChatGPT wrong?

I am fine with changing it to "Decision Makers". WDYT @socadk?

Thank you for the comment - and the understandable explanation, highly appreciated!

Double check: It is "Decision Maker" without any additional "s" at the end?

I field an issue at adr/madr#101.

Two options to go from here:

  • Fix adr-manager - and let it derive from the original MADR 2.1.2 template
  • Fix Replace "Deciders" by "Decision Maker(s)" madr#101, release MADR 4.0.0, update ADR Manager to support MADR 4.0.0. - In all cases, ADR Manager needs to be updated to follow latest MADR. 3.0.0 is out more than half a year now.

In case you have any other comments on the latest development version (which is available at https://github.com/adr/madr/blob/develop/template/adr-template.md), just let us now. Here or at the issue tracker of MADR at https://github.com/adr/madr/issues.
