Still alive?

This project looks amazing but there was no update in a long time. I would like to know if if's still alive before investing more time into it. Thank you

Hi, thanks for your interest. This project is still 'alive' in that I still think the idea is good and I would still like to improve it and release it properly. It is stalled on my levels of motivation and on finding other people who think it is interesting. There are also two specific things I'm waiting for, namely the release of actix-web 4.0 and the Rust language feature async-in-traits.

I have also thought that in the long run, warp might be a better backend for this crate since it appears to be more composable.

If you wish to contribute, I will be pleased to review and merge your code, however I'm not making any promises regarding when I'll start working on it more seriously again.
