So it can be represented in downstream repos/projects/package-tracking sites.

This could be done using a script that calls opencamlib and visualizes something with VTK - which then can be exported as e.g. PNG at chosen resolution.
The tux penguin STL has been used a lot for debugging the algorithms - so that one with a drop-cutter and/or waterline toolpath?
