Template repo doesn't run on emulator

I cloned the template repo and I am using an older version of nightly because agb wouldn't compile using a nightly version newer than from 10th July.

I ran cargo r --release. It builds successfully, but it doesn't run on mGBA.
Here the error message: Could not load game. Are you sure it's in the correct format?

What's the full output you get from cargo r --release? And what platform are you running on and what version of mgba are you using?

We've also just released a new version of agb, so you should be able to use the latest version if you want to with the newest nightly compiler.
