Error raised during deepcopy

Sure. Kindly find the code example below:

• Before calling the agent, deepcopy works fine in line 4
• After running any query, deepcopy raises exceptions in line 6

Hi @alpha-xone is this change from- #3054, i'm sorry but i don't think we will support a config yaml way to build Agents in Agno. We are more pythonic and believe that is the way.

hmh, valid. So-

• When you create agent1, it initializes an OpenAI client (through OpenAIChat) which uses an HTTP client (httpx) under the hood.
• When you do the first deepcopy(agent1) to create agent2, it works fine because the HTTP client hasn't been used yet.
• When you run the agent, i.e a request is made it uses the HTTP Client.
• When you try to do another deepcopy(agent1) to create agent3, the error occurs because the HTTP client is in an active state and Python's deepcopy can't properly copy an active HTTP client

So i think for your usecase the best you can do rn is clear the client before deepcopy, i tested in agno syntax by doing something like this-

from copy import deepcopy

from agno.agent import Agent, RunResponse  # noqa
from agno.models.openai import OpenAIChat
from agno.tools.duckduckgo import DuckDuckGoTools


def deepcopy_agent(agent):
    # Clear the OpenAI client before copying
    if agent.model and isinstance(agent.model, OpenAIChat):
        agent.model.client = None
        agent.model.async_client = None
        agent.model.http_client = None

    new_agent = deepcopy(agent)
    return new_agent


# Usage:
agent1 = Agent(
    model=OpenAIChat(id="gpt-4o"),
    markdown=True,
    tools=[DuckDuckGoTools()]
)

agent2 = deepcopy_agent(agent1)

news = agent1.run("What's happening in France?")

agent3 = deepcopy_agent(agent1)

print('===============================')
print(agent3.model)

This same error also comes out from Team sometimes - it must be deepcopying somewhere in the loop, but I'm not able to replicate for the moment. In case someone else find this problem in the future, can refer to the solution here.
