Hi,
In MacOS, certain commands like ros.updateCppProperties fails due to missing dylibs. The error message shown in vscode when running the command is

Command failed: rospack list
dyld: Library not loaded: librospack.dylib
  Referenced from: /opt/ros/melodic/bin/rospack
  Reason: image not found
