February 10-16, 2025 in Darker: Migration to pyproject.toml and CI improvements

We successfully completed the migration from setup.cfg to pyproject.toml (#806), resolving the PyPI HTML table rendering challenge with our README.rst contributors section. The uv implementation work concluded with updates to handle dependencies and project configuration (#810), including .gitignore adjustments for uv.lock.

Progress continues on GitHub Actions workflow improvements, with ongoing work to ensure required checks run properly on pull requests (#816). This addresses merge blocking issues we've been seeing in our CI pipeline.
