Disable the non-referred services and providers

Links such as

https://domain.tld/index.php/?provider=1
https://domain.tld/index.php/?service=1 
https://domain.tld/index.php/?provider=1&service=1 

take to the booking pages for the respective provider, service or (provider & service) combo.

If such a link is used, then other options should be disabled.
e.g. if a service link is used, the service selection dropdown should not be shown.
if a provider link is used, the provider selection dropdown should not be shown.
If a combo link is used, then the software already behaves correctly by jumping to the calendar + slot selection page.

Easy!Appointments used to work this way in the past, but some community members reported that this was too strict.

We will need to come up with a better solution for this.

I suppose you could always add an option in the admin UI or the URL parameter itself, but I am quite surprised to hear that people asked for this to be removed.

After all, you are using a service specific link https://domain.tld/index.php/?service=1 if you want customers to book that service...if you want to let the customers choose the service, why wouldn't you simply use the parameter-less link https://domain.tld/index.php/? But I suppose people can have peculiar requirements that are hard to see when you are unfamiliar with their situation 🤷

If I remember this correctly, the use case was about setting a preferred service but still allow the user to change it, in case that would not fit.

This way the customer would still have a choice to book for something else, which makes sense too, but I believe the best would be to figure out a way to support both use cases.
