Email invitation to our home server does not work

When inviting users via the web interface at riot.allmende.io, no invitation message is being sent to a targeted user.

This is yet to be confirmed.

E-Mail invitation works now, but it sends users invite links to https://riot.im. This is most probably due to the use of vector.im as Identity Service #7.

Invites are not working anymore. It just says it didn't work due CORS.

After reviewing synapse's source code, this is a configuration issue there, since it is the party involved in sending messages:
