Running Unit Tests. To run the unit tests, navigate to the project directory using cd, and then execute task unit. If you'd like to continuously monitor the codebase and automatically re-run unit tests whenever a file is saved, use task unit-watch.

Recommended VSCode Integration. For users of Cursor (a VSCode fork with AI capabilities) or VSCode, we recommend installing Coverage Gutters. This extension will automatically integrate with the project and display line coverage, providing a visual representation of our test coverage.

Git Integration for Unit Tests. By navigating to the project directory and running pre-commit install, unit tests will be run automatically before any git commit is applied. If any of the unit tests fail, the commit will be rejected. This is an excellent way to avoid errors and ensure code quality.
