analytics.eu.amplitude.com not supported?

If I get my API key from analytics.eu.amplitude.com, and check in the "init" tag the option to use EU Data Residency, then nothing works.

On the whole, when getting an API key from analytics.eu.amplitude.com, I haven't been able to get it recognized (only combination that seems to work is having an account from analytics.amplitude.com and NOT check EU Data Residency, which is not ok for me as I'm in the European Union)
