When someone enters a URL with a recognizable top level domain (e.g., .com), but doesn't enter a protocol (e.g., https://), it's treated as a chapter ID. That's not quite smart enough.
What's the design idea?
If a standard top level domain is included, but there's no protocol, add a protocol
Only count something as a chapter ID if it follows chapter ID format
Given an error on any other URL
Who benefits?
