Introduction

Easily create and manage PayPal Standard payment buttons within WordPress, and place them on Pages / Posts using shortcodes.

Requirements

  • PHP Version 5.3 or higher.

Automatic Installation

Automatic installation is the easiest option as WordPress handles the file transfers itself and you don't need to leave your web browser. To do an automatic install of PayPal WP Button Manager, log in to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the Plugins menu and click Add New.

In the search field type PayPal WP Button Manager and click Search Plugins. Once you've found our plugin you can view details about it such as the the point release, rating and description. Most importantly of course, you can install it by simply clicking Install Now.

Manual Installation

  1. Unzip the files and upload the folder into your plugins folder (wp-content/plugins/) overwriting old versions if they exist
  2. Activate the plugin in your WordPress admin area.

Setup

  1. Login to your WordPress control panel and go to Settings -> PayPal WP Button Manager.
  2. Enter your PayPal API credentials into the appropriate fields and save your changes.

Usage

  1. Click the PayPal Buttons tab in your WordPress admin panel.
  2. Click Add PayPal Button to open the button creation interface.
  3. Follow the steps to create the type of button you are looking to create.
  4. Place the button on Pages / Posts using shortcodes or the provided HTML / URL snippets.
