Better navigation style #1577
Comments
Hello, I am a coding student from the Netherlands, and I am eager to contribute to your project as part of my academic coursework. I have reviewed issue #1577 regarding the customization of the bottom menu and I believe it is a valuable enhancement. Given the scope of the request, I propose implementing it in several steps to make the process more manageable: Change "Navigation Style" Section: Add a settings menu to toggle the visibility of menu items. Could I be assigned to this issue? I would love to start working on the first step and gradually implement the full feature. While I am enthusiastic about contributing, I want to be transparent that due to academic commitments, I might not be able to complete all the steps. However, I am committed to making substantial progress and will document everything thoroughly to facilitate continuation by others if needed. Best regards, ST-ADA |
I would add a suggestion for sorting titles related to this issue/proposal: Sort Titles(Anime/Manga) by Drag-and-Drop. This got asked once 2 years ago, but the idea was scrapped. Apparently TachiyomiSY already has this feature, so the code could be ported. Thanks |
Go ahead if you want to start on the first step. |
Describe your suggested feature
The current customization of the bottom menu is very sparse. It would be nice to be able to customize the layout of menu items more precisely. I suggest the ability to change the "Navigation style" section, adding the ability to drag-and-drop items between the tab bar, "more" tab, or even hide the section completely
