Clear and concise description of the problem
Some icon sets are gigantic, making it easy to lose track of all the available options. Unfortunately, the search feature doesn't always help you find the icons you need, either because they are inadequately tagged or use completely different terminology.
In my tests, the search function in most icon sets feels rather "random."
Suggested solution
Perhaps AI could gradually tag all icons with many different labels, so that one could enter not only "magnifying glass" but also "search" or "find" to locate all search icons. An AI with image recognition would need to interpret each icon once and define suitable attributes to support the search.
Alternative
Since there are dozens of icon sets and thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of icons, I hardly believe there is any alternative to tagging all icons with additional tags in the near future that does not rely on AI.
