Hi, @iainmcgin. I was testing running a project on an ESP32 with 4 MB of flash, but buffa ends up contributing to a large binary size.
Here are the results of the experiments: jlucaso1#1 (I prioritized not compromising performance).
Also, check out the comments on the PR: oxidezap/whatsapp-rust#1424 (it includes automated benchmarks and binary size measurements).
What do you think about bringing some of these changes to upstream buffa?
