Materialized Views vs. Rollup: Practical Insights

I’ve seen discussions in some places where materialized views are considered a superset of rollups. I have a few questions I’d like to ask for discussion:

1. Is the essence of rollup about redefining the prefix index and storing it in the SSTable?
   This approach seems to truly accelerate query performance by pre-aggregating the data and organizing it in a way that makes it more efficient to query.
2. Do materialized views store query results?
   In cases of complex queries that cannot leverage prefix indexes, could materialized views significantly increase ETL time and processing pressure?

I’d appreciate any insights or best practices regarding the use of materialized views and rollups in real-world scenarios. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
