Reduce repeated dispatch in Rust SDK client wrappers #4573

Description

ClientWrapper repeats the same transport match in 55 methods. This adds code that must be maintained in several places.

Proposed solution

Use one private helper for transport selection. Keep the public API and reconnect behavior unchanged.
