Update dependencies, pin sphinx-markdown-builder to fix docs build (#75)

This updates dependencies, but I had to fix some incompatilibilities:
- pinned `sphinx` to `<= 4.3`, because `4.4` requires `importlib_metadata >= 4.4`, which is not compatible with `flake8 >= 4`
- pinned `sphinx-autodoc-typehints` to `<= 1.17`, because `1.18` requires `Sphinx >= 4.5`, which is not compatible with `flake8 >= 4`
- pinned `sphinx-markdown-builder` to `== 0.5.4`, because `0.5.5` has a formatting bug
