Reusing variables when amending a template #122
-
I was working on making a template and then consuming that template, but while amending that template- I want to make variables/objects that I can re-use throughout filling out the template. I tried making a hidden object but it throws "hidden is not applicable to object members." If I were to publish my template, it would be a real pain if my users couldn't make objects to reuse throughout their configuration. One workaround I thought of is shoving it in another module and then importing that module- but that introduces now two files the user has to include in their repository and disconnects the creation and usage which might lead to dead code faster now. Is there any way to currently do this? |

Looks like using the local modifier accomplishes this. There aren't explicit examples of this in the docs and the error message doesn't allude to it much but I think it conceptually makes sense. Thanks for the new tool btw! |
