How to escape property value with leading or trailing '=' character in the CLI?

PKL script example:
username = read("prop:username_101")

Command in bash:
pkl eval script_above.pkl -f yaml -o result.yml -p username_101="admin="

I would expect that in the result.yml, username would be equal to "admin=".
With leading "=" it's even worse, because username is empty. I don't now if that's problem with the shell or pkl-lang itself.

If property is replaced with export username_101="admin=" and script with read("env:username_101") it works as expected.

What am I doing wrong?

PR #631 did land in Pkl 0.27, so I'm definitely curious if this is still reproducible on the latest release.

I was in fact on version 0.26.3 . After update to 0.27.1 issue is gone

Issue with 0.26.3 as described also here #630. Works on latest (now 0.27.1) version.
