It would be nice to add Fedora packaging automation via packit. This would:

  • push PRs to Fedora downstream whenever a new release is published
  • test packaging and isolated pytest/ctests on each push to main or PR commits
  • enable more native tests using testing-farm, e.g. using cmakes find_package as if the Fedora package was installed natively

@LecrisUT I'm maintaining this package in Fedora already: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-fypp . If you'd like to help with maintenance, please provide your FAS id and I'll add you as co-maintainer.

I'm "lecris" on FAS, but I'll probably want to see more traction on the PRs I've opened before I would add the packit automation and help with the automated maintenance.
