Plugin approval #1
Comments
Hi,
Thank you for the reference, we are familiar with the slyr project, and
support it.
We believe that our plugin addresses other needs:
1. Direct conversion of standard lyrx files, slyr supports style files, but
the community version does not support lyrx files.
2. ArcGIS Pro supports full conversion of lyr , which is the most popular
symbology file, to lyrx files.
3. The plugin also offers, quick and handy toolbox for symbology solutions
In addition, we would like to mention that slyr's installation process (on
windows, https://github.com/nyalldawson/slyr#qgis-plugin) requires
pre-requisites,
while qlyrx is a lightweight plugin that has no prerequisites and uses only
what QGIS installed.

Have you looked at SLYR community edition
https://github.com/nyalldawson/slyr to see if this is not supported
already? If it is not maybe you can contribute your changes to the
community version and the broader community will benefit.
