How can i do a executable directives ?

I have not found an entry for executable directives in the documentation (https://the-guild.dev/graphql/tools/docs/schema-directives). When I try this myself it is never executed. What did I do wrong or is there somewhere an example where I can look at this?

I have the same issue and I am looking for an official solution. In the meanwhile I got this solution for the my custom directives (escapeHTML and BBCodeToHTML):
