Keeping part of the state as query parameters means updating the entire app #1

when changing just one answer to one question. I think the order of what's happening is:

user changes their answer to a question
that pushes updated query params onto history
that triggers rerender of the whole app

It's not noticeable for me, but there is probably a better way of doing this.
