Is argo-events suitable for consuming massive events?

Say there's a kafka topic , 10,000 messages will be produced into the topic per second. I want to consume these messages, do some filter & transformation and then sink to different kafka topics. I don't know if this is suitable usecase for argo events, cause I didn't find any performance docs about that
