I get M3 S[$30*3/100} BAD NUMBER FORMAT error when I try to turn the laser on for focusing.
I press the "TURN LASER ON FOR FOCUSING" button and get the error above. The laser does not turn on.
I am using LaserGRBL version 7.12.0 with the Longer RAY5 (10w laser) and Windows 11.
Screenshot attached.

LaserGRBL Error

I redownloaded the software and that did not fix the problem. Any suggestions?

I use this. Right click on the button and click Edit Button.
Then replace the code with the code in the image below.
Then click Save.
M3 is Laser On, M5 is Laser Off.
The S in the code is the power level. My laser switches on with it set to 0.2.
Yours may be different, may need a higher number, but not too high or it will mark the laser bed.
