Over the past few weeks, this isn't working in Safari in macOS Monterey. I have two Macs both running macOS Monterey. It's the same issue on both. PiPifier has worked perfectly since I first started using it with macOS Sierra. For a while after this started, I could either refresh the page or quit and relaunch Safari to get it working again. This no longer works. I just uninstalled the app and reinstalled. When I uninstalled, I used an app called AppCleaner to make sure I was also removing settings, caches and other files associated with PiPifier. This did not have any effect. It's a free app but considering its convenience, and Apple's lousy way of implementing Picture in Picture, it's worth being paid for.... If it works. My guess is that Safari just no longer works with it. I'm running macOS 12.1. Perhaps one of the Safari updates between 12.0.1 and 12.1 is what broke PiPifier. I don't remember having problems right after upgrading to macOS Monterey.

It would be super if the developer responded to this issue so we know to either stick with this app or just abandon it completely.

I just dropped this extension. There have been many occasions in the past where it has broken on YouTube and other websites. And other PIP extensions seems to be either abandoned or much worse.

You don't actually need an extension to use PIP in safari. Just right click on a video and tap "Enter Picture in Picture mode"

For websites like YouTube that have their own custom context menu applied to their videos, you can right click twice to bring up the safari context menu.

I removed the extension about a month ago. I knew how to use PiP from the beginning. Your app just made it easier. I have enjoyed using it. Most Mac users have no idea that this capability exists because of the lousy way Apple implemented it and sites like YouTube don't make it obvious now to use PiP.
