Broken Ruff plugin #1118

Describe the Bug
The ruff plugin is broken for version 10 and above and the project is abandoned. Many issues and PRs were open fixing it but the owner of the repo is nowhere to be seen.
There are many forks that applied the fix, should one of those be used and listed here and the default plugin instead?
Steps to Reproduce
- Set ruff plugin version to version 10 or above.
- Try to install it with
asdf - It fails due to a bug in the current plugin when parsing the version
Expected Behaviour
Ruff version 10 and above is properly parsed and installed
Actual Behaviour
Ruff plugin can't parse version 10 or above
