[Bug]: Codex Thread Fails to Start

Steps to reproduce

1. Start a thread and send a message
2. Looks like the message is working however the branch name is random, I don't think even the message gets propaged
3. No thread creation shows up in the terminal

4. Either have to send it again or the entire application died
