Unusable text input field in Hamster Time Tracker extension combined with Blur my Shell

While having Blur my Shell enabled and using light mode in GNOME 46 the input text row in the Hamster Time Tracker extension is unusable because both the background and text colors are light (below the "What are you doing?" text):

I originally tried to get this fixed in the Hamster Time Tracker extension (projecthamster/hamster-shell-extension#379). After removing the search-entry class for the field it looks much better:

Is this something that could/should be fixed in Blur my Shell?

I'm using Ubuntu 24.04.
