What happened?

In "Ansel - Open pictures", the number of files for import that is displayed at the bottom of the window varies in a stochastic manner on cycling through Select all, Select none (this is always correct at "0") and Select new (this can also vary independent of files having ben already imported or not, be they in the target folder or elsewhere on the hard drive.
The number of files reported on clicking once on a folder displayed in the right panel is correct, yet on double clicking the folder (as if one opens it), Select all gives a wrong number. However all files are selected and correctly imported. The counted number of files is wrong and differs each time one clicks on Select all or Select new after having clicked on Select none.
