ZCode (Z.ai) — the free desktop harness for GLM-5.2, launched 2026-07-02, shipping weekly — has no CLI, no headless mode, and no documented local session files; in-app conversation state doesn't survive the app closing. There is nothing for the engine path to read and no API for the provider path.
This issue exists so the watch is public. The trigger: a CLI or headless mode in the ZCode changelog, or documented on-disk session storage. If you find either before we do, comment here.
Meanwhile GLM models already reach Harness indirectly — Z.ai's devpack points Claude Code and other integrated CLIs at GLM endpoints.
