Description

As a user embedding Avalon media in a website, I don't want to see the object title displayed, so that the embed looks less visually cluttered and doesn't reproduce context already provided on the embedding page.

This is a user request from the Journal of Cultural Anthropology. Marcel writes: "Commercial players like Vimeo allow you to toggle this kind of text on and off, so I do think it's a feature request worth thinking about for the future."

This can be done through a query parameter and detailed in documentation.

Done Looks Like

  • Users have the option to not display a title for iframe embeds through a query parameter to the embed URL
  • Documentation on the Avalon wiki is updated for this feature
