We've seen errors in production from users trying to use the oembed service. It wasn't working for me with the simple public featured content that we have in production.

Notes

This probably isn't broken in all cases. For IU, it's definitely broken in production. For non-production it may be working. There's an example in Spruce that is fully working with oembed.

Done Looks Like

Oembed service is tested and investigated further, and new issues written to resolve any problems.

Notes

  • What is the consuming service that we're targeting? We should have this so we can test. Spotlight is one possible platform.
  • Spotlight is a good example, but setting up a spotlight instance to test against might be onerous
