SonarCloud is reporting code quality issues that should be addressed to maintain code health and reduce technical debt. Fixing these issues will improve code maintainability, readability, and potentially catch bugs early.

Review and fix SonarCloud reported issues. This is an umbrella issue and sub-issues will be created for each specific problem to track progress individually.
