ASP.NET ZIP

This example shows how to deploy an ASP.NET application using the Lambda Web Adapter packaged as a ZIP file.

The dotnet6 runtime is used.

A shell script is used as the handler to startup the ASP.NET web application.

Build & Deploy

Make sure .NET 6 is already installed. Run the following commands on a x86_64 machine.

sam build --use-container
sam deploy -g

Once deployed, SAM will return two API URL's. One using the default WeatherForecast controller. The other, demonstrates how you can retrieve details about the inbound request context and the Lambda execution context.

The request and Lambda context data is retrieved using 2 header values:
