List of tabs not updating when using shortcut

I never click on the extension icon using the mouse, but always use the keyboard shortcut. I've set the Quick Tabs activation shortcut to Alt + Shift + C in chrome://extensions/shortcuts.

When I type Alt + Shift + C, the extension works otherwise perfectly, but the list of tabs only shows tabs I no longer have open, and almost all of the tabs I do have open are missing from the list.

I'm using "Substring Search", but overriding that with /fuzzy, /fuse, or /regex doesn't seem to make any difference.

This is Quick Tabs 2021.6.29 on Chromium 99.0.4844.51. I'm running NixOS 21.11 as my OS.

Actually now it won't find any of the open tabs no matter if I use the shortcut or click on the extension icon.

Same as here in firefox, but appear listing candidates (empty) after usage for a while.
