I thought there was an issue for this already, but I couldn't find one so here we are (maybe again)
We should have landing pages for Non-Profit that speaks to why Backdrop is great for Non-Profits. Similarly, for Education, Business, or any other sector we feel is relevant.

I started work on this task this week. Here's my thinking, we already have a field for "Audience" on the showcase node type. If we turned this into a vocabulary, every one of those values would get a dedicated page, and we could provide the following sections, all filtered for that type:
Some intro text about why Backdrop is great for this type of audience
Feature (this is the list of features from the home page, filtered by term
Showcase Websites (This is the block of 3 showcase sites from the home page, filtered by term)
Quote (this is a feature under development -- but see the related issue
That sounds like an excellent idea... the problem with BD being so flexible is that the descriptions can be too generic or overly complicated so having dedicated pages targeted at different sectors would make it easier for people to make a decision about using Backdrop.
Each section could also have links to the relevant showcases.
