Niri desktop

I just discovered Niri desktop last night, it's an interesting approach on top of Gnome.

I'm wondering, how well does this align with Omakub and could there be any interest in it perhaps as a distinct variant of Omakub? :)

Unfortunately, I don't think it's possible to use niri "on top of" GNOME, but rather as a different VW (like swap/i3 for example).
As the niri guide also suggests, there are extensions that simulate this behavior.
