Use with VSCodium?!

I'm not sure if this is the wrong place to report this issue. For some reason, this extension doesn't show up in the VSCodium Marketplace. I installed it by downloading the vsix file and VSCodium acknowledges that the extension is installed, but then it doesn't show up in the settings. When I open a Matlab file, it isn't recognized as such either even though I set *.m to matlab in the file associations.

Is this extension not meant to work with VSCodium?!

Download the individual extensions manually from the marketplace and install individually. VSCodium uses open-vsx internally instead of the visual studio marketplace.
