Hello, thank you for all the informations. Can you retry with the latest version and tell me if it's working |
"So, to start, let me tell you that after just one week, the results I had mentioned above were no longer reliable. With the same version of Windows and the browser, your add-on went into an infinite loop; it blocks the Twitch pop-up asking to subscribe to watch the video, the initial ads start playing, but then there's infinite loading!" I'm not sure whether to feel confused or happy, but I always thank you for the constant updates you give us. ^^ |
Thank you, I tried something different to fix the issue. I think it will be better with the latest version |
Hello Jayson,
A few months ago, I asked you if this project had been abandoned or was still active because, suddenly, after the usual Twitch update, your addon stopped working. Only after your response did I try again, and it actually worked, but in a strange way.
Reading messages from other users, I saw that everyone is experiencing the same issues, but in a completely random way. So, I ran some tests, perhaps to help you or to assist others who might read this message.
These are my addons, active on all browsers, but whether they are enabled or disabled, the result has never changed: Volume Master, AdBlock, Return YouTube Dislike, Disable HTML5 Autoplay (Reloaded), Twitch Error AutoRefresher, BetterTTV
Windows 11 Pro 23H2 22631.4602
Microsoft Edge 131.0.2903.146 - not work
Google Chrome 131.0.6778.265 - not work
Brave 1.73.105 - not work
Opera GX 115.0.5322.142 - WORK
Windows 10 22H2 19045.5247
Microsoft Edge 131.0.2903.146 - WORK
Google Chrome 131.0.6778.265 - not work
Brave 1.73.105 - WORK
Opera GX 115.0.5322.142 - not work
However, I would add that in all 8 tests, if the addon is ACTIVE, streams, VODs, and clips go into infinite loading.
If the addon isn't needed, it should be DISABLED.
These are my results; I hope they can help you improve this addon or assist those who (like me in the past) experienced infinite loading.
Thank you!
