comment[modification parameters] vs comment[modification_parameters]

Case:

• with white space (modification parameters): the ontology terms are checked and it throws an error
• with underscore in name (modification_parameters): the column is interpreted as free text

Question: is modification_parameters a valid ontology term?

I will add an example once I have a bit more time.
