How to get the onion pairing to work? #81

Is there an existing issue for this?

Current behaviour

Is there a way to enable the Tor / Onion pairing feature so I can route transactions from wallets on my phone etc through my Bitcoin Knots node? Thank you

Expected behaviour

Onion address appears in program

Steps to reproduce

When I go to "pairing" there is no onion address listed

Relevant log output

No response

How did you obtain Bitcoin Knots

Compiled from source

What version of Bitcoin Knots are you using?

26.1

Operating system and version

Windows 11 Version 10.0.22631 Build 22631

Machine specifications

It should automatically work if Tor is installed in your system's PATH, but I'm not sure if that's standard on Windows.

Thanks for your reply! I'm wondering if there are instructions anywhere in order to figure out how to do this?

I followed the instructions on this page
https://windowsloop.com/how-to-add-to-windows-path/

However Bitcoin Knots is still behaving the same way.
