Hey, I really want to use this app. any reasons why its cannot install on my m1 mac? app always says:

"eqMac needs a special Audio Driver to be installed to capture System Audio."

then I give it security privilages
and then it comes with error

"driver installation failed timed out"

? what is that?

FYI. This still has issues with MacOS Sonoma and Safari and Safari Technology Preview. YT Music - which uses Safari as it's back-end experiences choppiness in playback. When playing back the same music via the YouTube web site in Safari, the exact same choppiness is observed.

All other apps I have tried work (Apple Music, QuickTime and INNA), as well as playback of YouTube Music via Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome - so this seems Safari specific.

Specific setup:

MacBook Pro 2019, MacOS Sonoma 14.1.1
Eqmac 1.8.0, Driver: 2.5.0, UI: 5.0.2 (Remote)

I thought I was losing my mind.

I tried Chrome and it works fine for me as well, however Safari has the same pulsing cracking noise you described for me.
