installed the apk but no mods show up

basically what it sounds like. i ran the mobile maker and installed the apk but its just the computer version with absolutely zero mods installed. i cant even see the mods tab its just not there please if someone can help

for some more context, i am using a steamrip version of balatro but i put the maker in the same directory. i manually installed the apk after taking it from the directory since ADB didnt work and the vanilla game works without issues besides the fact that there are no mods. how to add the mods?
