This is another specialized service on Ariton, that is focused on verification of identifiers.

Anyone can provide "Verification as a Service" within a community, which is a provider that verifies the authenticity of data (verifiable credentials) or identities (DID). These verification services can issue identity cards to users based upon a set of rules the verification provider decides.

The idea of this service, is to allow different communities to have their own internal verification of members. This verification can be very different depending on the community.

For example, a community dedicated to medical personell, might want to perform a verification of medial credentials and then issue an verifiable credential (VC) that contains the signed claims that the user has been verified.

Decentralized identity registries might use this service to have local or global registries of validated identities.
